Retired from the public school system, Billy became an adjunct professor of ESL students at Indian River State College, Mueller Center in Vero Beach. In the past ten years, his time has been spent rearranging music, researching and writing his novel based on the life of his grandmother. He lives with his wife of twenty-eight years, Kathy.
